About 101 Languages

101 Languages dot net is a site that aims to help people gain a better understanding of many of the world's languages. The site originally started out as a school project that listed basic phrases for one language - Swedish. Over time, it has grown in size and scope and now encompasses 35 different languages.

The goal of this site is to provide basic translations and other useful information about different languages. There is also a travel section on each language page that gives all kinds of travel tips and information on various countries.

About me

My name is Chuck and I am currently a student at Gustauvs Adolphus College in a small town called St. Peter, Minnesota. I am studying International Management and Scandinavian Studies and am set to graduate in May 2007.

I do not speak all of the languages on this site. I do, however, speak Swedish and Dutch as well as a little bit of Spanish, German, and French. I do not claim to be an expert linguist or anything of the sort. I merely find learning about other languages an intersting hobby.

I try to update this site as often as possible, but unfortunately I cannot always devote as much time as I would ideally prefer.
