Learn Welsh Online
This site is designed as a starting point for people who want to learn more about the Welsh language. The links on the left contain English to Welsh translations as well as other useful information about the Welsh language.
After some translations into Welsh, the phonetic pronunciation is given in parentheses. This can be helpful as a guide to correct pronunciation, but it is advisable to learn the different individual sounds that comprise each word or sentence. The pronunciation section at the top can help with this.
Though less than 20% of Wales speaks Welsh now, visitors to Wales will still hear and see traces of it. Travelers planning to visit surrounding areas, like those looking to find Blackpool hotels, or hotels in Bristol may want to learn some basic Welsh and expand their trip to explore the rich culture of Wales.
